The OFW Hospital in Pampanga has commenced the construction of the Bagong Pilipinas Cancer Care Center, marking the country’s third such facility. President Marcos Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony, dedicating the project to the late Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople. The center aims to provide comprehensive cancer care services, including chemotherapy, diagnostics, and surgical oncology, primarily serving Overseas Filipino Workers and their dependents.
